Harry didn’t come from a property background.
At just 22 years old, working full-time in the London fire service, he was stepping into an entirely new space – one he knew had long-term potential, but little personal experience in.
“I’m currently doing my first property… and I’m really excited to get it completed.”
Like many first-time investors, the interest was there early. The challenge was knowing where to begin.
“I was contemplating what sort of strategy I wanted to do to get into property.”
There was no shortage of information online. Different strategies, different locations, different companies – all offering a way in.
But without a clear framework, it’s easy to stay stuck in research mode.
When Knowing Isn’t the Same as Acting
Harry had already made one important decision early on: he didn’t want to do this alone.
For a first investment, the margin for error felt too high.
“I came to the conclusion that for my first one, definitely, I would like a team and professionals who can guide me along the way.”
That led him to speak with several property companies, comparing approaches and trying to understand what felt right.
But while many offered similar outcomes, the experience of getting there felt very different.
What Harry was really looking for wasn’t just a service – it was clarity, patience and trust.
A Conversation That Felt Different
After multiple conversations, one stood out.
“It felt like the most genuine people to be talking to… not necessarily a fixed scripted conversation. It just felt like a genuine chat.”
Instead of being pushed toward a decision, Harry was encouraged to take his time.
“It was just see what I think… go away, look at a few other companies… and see what works best for me.”
That lack of pressure created something far more valuable – confidence.
Over a series of conversations, everything was broken down clearly, at his pace.
“We spoke a couple of times and he went through everything really slowly with me, just so I understood everything.”
For someone entering property with zero experience, that approach made all the difference.
The Emotional Reality of Getting Started
Taking the first step into property is rarely just logical – it’s emotional.
Harry is open about that.
“It’s very nerve wracking getting started… every step when you pay a large sum of money, it will be very nerve wracking and intimidating.”
Even early in the process, the weight of committing capital is real.
“The potential of… not having that cash sitting in your bank account again is definitely a worrying factor.”
But what he found is that momentum builds quickly once you move forward.
“Once you’ve made that first step, it sort of does get easier and more exciting.”
That shift – from hesitation to progress – is what separates intention from action.
Guidance That Removes the Unknown
One of Harry’s biggest concerns was simple: not knowing what he was doing.
“As someone who’s got zero experience in the property field, I don’t know what I was looking at at all.”
Instead of expecting him to figure it out alone, the process was built around clarity.
From initial conversations through to onboarding, everything was explained step by step.
“They said we can have as many calls as needed… it was just very friendly, like a welcoming environment.”
That environment didn’t feel transactional.
It felt more like guidance.
“I do feel like that’s very important… almost like a mentorship as well, and not just like a business deal.”
Structure Creates Confidence
As the journey progressed, one of the biggest surprises was how structured everything felt.
“The journey has been broken down… all of the files have been sent to me about the journey and what to expect, when to expect it.”
Instead of uncertainty, there was clarity.
Every stage had a process. Every next step was visible.
Communication played a key role in that.
“I can just put whatever questions I have into my group chat and it’ll be answered very quickly.”
That consistency removed friction – and replaced it with progress.
A Team You Can Actually Rely On
For Harry, one of the most important parts of the experience has been the people behind it.
Not just at the start – but throughout the journey.
“It’s been made very aware for me that I can just put whatever questions… and it’ll be answered very quickly.”
That support isn’t abstract – it’s visible day to day.
From onboarding through to next steps, multiple team members are involved, each helping move things forward.
“Everyone’s there to support you… as I’ve witnessed myself with Dal, with everyone in the team.”
That consistency builds trust.
Because it’s not just one conversation at the start – it’s ongoing support throughout the process.
Removing the Barriers to Entry
One of the biggest hidden challenges in property is building the right network.
Solicitors. Mortgage brokers. Accountants.
For someone starting from scratch, even knowing where to begin can feel overwhelming.
Harry didn’t have those connections.
“I don’t know any of these sort of people… otherwise it would just be impossible.”
Through the process, those gaps were filled.
“I’ve been put in touch with people for all different [roles]…”
Instead of building everything alone, the infrastructure was already there.
And importantly, it delivered.
“I’m paying for the service, but I am getting a good service.”
Playing the Long Game
Harry’s approach to property is measured and realistic.
There’s no expectation of overnight results.
“I’m not looking for any drastic monetary value change within the next 12 months.”
Instead, the focus is on long-term stability.
“I’m doing it solely for the purpose of securing my future… and eventually being able to live comfortably.”
That mindset shapes how he approaches the journey.
“It’s a lengthy process… just keep investing and see how it takes me in the long run.”
At 22, there’s no urgency – only consistency.
“I’m not in any rush, just slow and steady.”
A Clear Path Forward
Even at an early stage, Harry has a clear idea of what he’s building toward.
“Once you get to like five, then that’s sort of the magic number…”
A portfolio that begins to generate its own momentum.
A structure that grows over time.
There’s no fixed timeline – but there is direction.
“I’m not going to put a time limit on it… just take it as it comes.”
Why the Right Environment Matters
For Harry, the biggest differentiator hasn’t just been the strategy – it’s the environment.
“Being part of a proper team is the most important factor for me.”
That shows up in the small moments.
The ability to ask questions freely.
The confidence to not have all the answers.
The reassurance that support is always there.
“If I feel like it’s a silly question… I do feel like, yeah, just ask it.”
And that’s what allows progress to continue.
A Strong Foundation for What Comes Next
Harry is still at the beginning of his journey.
No completed deals yet. No long-term figures to point to.
But what he has built is just as important.
Clarity.
Confidence.
And the right support around him.
“It’s a very well-rounded service… very detailed as to what’s going to happen when.”
And most importantly:
“Everyone’s there to support you… that’s all I can really ask for.”
For a first-time investor, that’s what turns uncertainty into action – and a single decision into a long-term strategy.
Want results like this?
Harry’s story shows that you don’t need to have it all figured out before you begin. You just need the right people around you and a clear path to follow.
Whether you’re completely new to property or simply unsure where to start, having a structured, supportive approach can make all the difference.
